“For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the lord God wherefore turn yourselves and live ye.” which prophet did God tell this statement...

The prophet whom God told the statement "For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the lord God wherefore turn yourselves and live ye" is Ezekiel. Ezekiel was a prophet of God who lived during the Babylonian captivity of Israel. He was called by God to be a prophet to the exiles and was given many visions and prophecies about their future. In Ezekiel 18:32, God expressed his desire that people should turn away from sin and live instead of facing death. The context of this statement is that God was speaking to the people of Israel, warning them of the consequences of their sins. God did not want them to die because of their sins, but instead, he wanted them to turn away from their wickedness and live a righteous life. God is a merciful God, and he desires that all people should repent and turn to him. In summary, the statement "For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the lord God wherefore turn yourselves and live ye" was spoken by God through the prophet Ezekiel, as a call for the people of Israel to turn away from their sins and live a righteous life.
