The main difference between Peter in the book of Acts and the Peter in the four Gospels is the Holy Spirit in his life. After Jesus' ascension, the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles, including Peter, on the day of Pentecost. This event is described in the book of Acts, where Peter is depicted as a bold and confident preacher, in contrast to the Peter in the Gospels who often struggled with fear and doubt. The infilling of the Holy Spirit empowered Peter to carry out the mission Jesus had given him, and to be a witness for Christ to the world.
