Electronic systems are divided into three functional blocks: input (sensors and switches that detect conditions), process (decision-making circuits such as logic gates, microcontrollers or comparators) and output (devices that produce a physical effect such as heat, light, sound or movement). The heating element converts electrical energy into thermal energy to warm the air, which is the final physical action the circuit produces. It does not detect any condition (input) or make decisions (process); it simply responds to the signal it receives by generating heat.
