Question 1 Report
The diagram shows a triangle in which angle \(B = 90^\circ\) and angle \(A = 34^\circ\).
Write down the size of angle \(C\).
The three angles of any triangle add up to \(180^\circ\). Here two of them are already known: the right angle at \(B\) is \(90^\circ\) and angle \(A = 34^\circ\).
\[ C = 180^\circ - 90^\circ - 34^\circ = 56^\circ \] [B1]
A useful shortcut for right-angled triangles: the two non-right angles are complementary, so they must total \(90^\circ\). That gives \(90^\circ - 34^\circ = 56^\circ\) directly. No trigonometry or measuring is needed here, which is why the question says "write down".
