On a travel graph the vertical axis is distance from the depot and the horizontal axis is time. While the bus is moving, the distance changes, so the graph slopes. While the bus is stopped, the distance from the depot stays the same, so the graph is a horizontal line.
The stop at the village is therefore the flat section at the top of the graph, and its length along the time axis gives how long the bus waited.

Read the two time values at the ends of the horizontal section and subtract; do not read the time at which the flat part ends and quote that as the answer. A horizontal section on a distance-time graph always means zero speed, never a constant speed.
