According to Karl Marx,the mode of production that precedes capitalism is socialism.

Socialism is associated with Kari Marx and his basic ideas are used in socialist states. His theory is in most cases referred to as Marxism. Historical Materialism and Dialectical Materialism. Kari Marx maintained that each productive process has it mode of socio-economic relation. The various stages of production undergone by societies had their different modes of production. Such stages which every society must have to pass through include communalism, Feudalism and capitalism. Socialism came up as a protest movement against the evils of capitalism.

The principle of federal character was first enunciated in the 1979 Constitution of Nigeria. It was introduced to promote inclusiveness and fairness in the distribution of public offices, especially at the federal level. The principle requires that appointments to public service institutions and other government-related positions reflect the ethnic, linguistic, and religious diversity of the country. It aims to ensure that no section of the country is marginalized in the allocation of resources and opportunities. The principle was later reaffirmed in the 1999 Constitution, which is the current Constitution of Nigeria.

The major objective of the manifesto of the People's Redemption Party in the Second Republic was the emancipation of the masses. This means that the party sought to liberate the common people from poverty, oppression, and exploitation. The party believed that the Nigerian masses had been oppressed and exploited for too long by the ruling elites, and it aimed to empower them politically, socially, and economically. The party also sought to promote social justice and equality for all Nigerians, and to create a society where everyone would have equal opportunities to succeed. Therefore, while the other options may have been part of the party's objectives, the emancipation of the masses was its major goal, and the cornerstone of its manifesto.

All military administrations are dictatorship. They rule by decrees that in most cases, may not be challenged in any count of law.

The military administration is not accountable to the people, does not listen to public opinion. They pass their laws through Decrees without any regard to the feelings of the masses. In most cases, their decrees contain some ouster clauses that render the judiciary powerless.

One of the objectives of a multi-party system is to provide alternatives. A multi-party system is a political system where several political parties are allowed to exist and compete for power. In this system, political parties offer different policy positions and ideologies, providing voters with a choice of alternatives when it comes to selecting their leaders. By allowing multiple political parties to exist, a multi-party system promotes political competition, which can lead to better governance and decision-making. Political parties in a multi-party system can also represent different interests and groups within a society, allowing for a diversity of perspectives and ideas to be brought to the political process. Furthermore, a multi-party system helps to prevent the concentration of power in the hands of a single political party or individual. This can promote democracy and prevent authoritarianism. In summary, one of the key objectives of a multi-party system is to provide alternatives to voters and promote competition in the political process.

Acculturation in colonial administration was associated with the French policy of assimilation. This policy was aimed at making the people in the colonies adopt French culture and language, with the ultimate goal of making them French citizens. The French government believed that this would lead to the development of a loyal and integrated French empire. Acculturation refers to the process of adopting the culture, beliefs, and values of another group. In the context of colonial administration, it involves the imposition of the colonizer's culture and way of life on the colonized people. The policy of assimilation was a form of acculturation, where the French government attempted to make the colonized people become like the French in every way. This involved the establishment of French schools, churches, and other institutions, where the colonized people were taught French language, culture, and values.

The head of the electoral body that conducted the June 12, 1993 elections in Nigeria was Humphrey Nwosu. He was the Chairman of the National Electoral Commission (NEC) which was responsible for organizing and conducting the elections that were widely considered to be the freest and fairest in the history of Nigeria. The election was however annulled by the military government led by General Ibrahim Babangida, leading to a political crisis and the eventual military takeover by General Sani Abacha.

One of the obligations of a citizen is obedience to the laws of the land. This means that citizens are expected to follow and abide by the rules, regulations and laws set by the government of their country. It is important for citizens to obey the laws of the land in order to maintain social order, ensure justice and prevent chaos. The main goal of the Nigerian National Democratic Party (NNDP) was to achieve franchise for Nigerians. The party was formed in 1923 by Herbert Macaulay, who was a prominent Nigerian nationalist and a campaigner for democracy. The NNDP's main focus was to push for the right of all Nigerians to vote and be represented in the colonial government. They aimed to achieve this goal through peaceful and legal means, such as lobbying the British colonial authorities for political reform. Ultimately, the NNDP's efforts were successful, as they helped to pave the way for Nigeria's eventual independence in 1960.

In 1982, Nigeria declared that she would not attend the Organization of African Unity (OAU) summit in Tripoli unless Libya withdrew her troops from Chad. This was a result of the ongoing conflict between Libya and Chad, where Nigeria supported the Chadian government against Libyan aggression. The Nigerian government demanded the withdrawal of Libyan troops from Chad as a condition for attending the summit.

Following the 1976 Local Government reforms in Nigeria, the Local Governments were empowered to promulgate and enforce bye-laws. This means that the local governments were given the authority to create and enforce rules and regulations that are specific to their respective areas of jurisdiction. The system was designed to retain the existing traditional structure of governance in the North, while using it to serve British colonial interests. The British recognized the authority of traditional rulers and appointed them as Native Authorities to oversee the administration of their respective communities. The Native Authorities were responsible for collecting taxes, maintaining law and order, and implementing colonial policies at the local level. Thus, the system was a means of indirect rule, where traditional rulers were given limited powers to govern their people on behalf of the colonial authorities.

The 37th OAU Summit in Lusaka, Zambia in July 2001 adopted the New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD), as the integrated and comprehensive socio-economic development programme to accelerate Africa's renewal, in the form of Declaration 1 (XXXVII).

Resistance of the big powers is a hindrance to the democratization of the United Nations. These big powers are often resistant to changes that would reduce their influence and give more power to other countries. As a result, efforts to democratize the UN have been slow and difficult. The proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, the multiplicity of official languages, and delayed payment of annual dues by members are all challenges facing the UN, but they are not the main hindrance to democratization.

When people recognize the legitimacy of their government or ruler, they are more likely to obey laws, pay taxes, and participate in the governance process. In contrast, when there is a lack of legitimate authority, people may feel alienated from the government, leading to social unrest and political instability.

It is not primarily driven by desires to consume more manufactured goods, produce more raw materials, or secure a permanent seat in the United Nations Security Council.

The aim of deregulation is to increase competition, efficiency, and innovation in markets, leading to lower prices and higher quality products and services. While the removal of subsidies on public utilities, privatization, and commercialization may be part of the process of deregulation, they are not the core principles of the policy.
