Answer Details
The LORD told Moses that He would rain bread from heaven for the people of Israel to eat, but He instructed them to gather just enough for one day. The reason for this was to test their obedience and faith in Him. The people were not supposed to store up the bread for the next day, but some of them did not listen and kept the bread overnight. As a result, the bread became full of worms and stank. This showed that they lacked faith in God's provision and His ability to provide for them daily. Therefore, the answer is obedience and faith.
