Answer Details
The correct answer is "Even demons were subject to them". The Seventy were a group of disciples that Jesus sent out to proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God. When they returned from their mission, they reported to Jesus that even demons were subject to them in his name. This demonstrated the power and authority that Jesus had given them to perform miracles and cast out demons in his name.
