Answer Details
A flexible constitution can only be amended by a simple majority vote in the legislature. In a flexible constitution, the procedures for amending the constitution are relatively easy and can be changed through a simple legislative process. This is in contrast to a rigid constitution, where the procedures for amending the constitution are much more difficult and require a special amendment process or even a constitutional convention. As a result, a flexible constitution can be easily adapted to changing circumstances, while a rigid constitution provides greater stability and security, but can be more difficult to change when necessary.
