In which state of Nigeria is Obudu game reserve located?

Obudu Game Reserve (also known as Obudu Cattle Ranch or Obudu Mountain Resort) is located in Cross River State, in the south-eastern part of Nigeria. It sits on the Obudu Plateau in the Sankwala Mountains, near the border with Cameroon.

Cross River State is known for its rich biodiversity and is home to several important conservation areas, including the Cross River National Park. The cool highland climate of the Obudu Plateau, at an elevation of about 1,576 metres above sea level, supports unique montane grassland and forest ecosystems that are distinct from the surrounding tropical lowlands.

The other states listed do not contain Obudu Game Reserve. Anambra State is in the south-east but lacks this highland reserve. Akwa Ibom State is a coastal state in the Niger Delta region. Rivers State, also in the Niger Delta, is distinct from Cross River State despite the similarity in names.
