Which Prophet was tested with the loss of all his children and wealth?

Prophet Ayyub (Job) was tested with the loss of all his children and wealth. According to Islamic tradition, Ayyub was initially a prosperous and blessed man with abundant wealth, many children, and good health. As a divine test of his faith and patience, he lost all of these blessings one after another: his wealth was destroyed, his children died, and he was struck with a severe, prolonged illness.

Despite these devastating losses, Ayyub remained steadfast in his faith and never questioned Allah's wisdom. The Qur'an records his humble supplication in Surah Al-Anbiya (21:83): "Indeed, adversity has touched me, and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful." Allah rewarded his patience by restoring his health, granting him new children, and giving him even greater wealth than before (Surah Sad, 38:41-44).

While Yaqub (Jacob) also endured a significant loss - the prolonged separation from his son Yusuf - the comprehensive trial of losing all children and all wealth is specifically attributed to Ayyub. Yusuf's trial centred on betrayal and imprisonment. Harun is not associated with such a trial in Islamic sources.
