Prophet Isa (Jesus) is the prophet who was born without a father. The Qur'an states that Isa was born to Maryam (Mary) through a miraculous conception by Allah's command alone, without any human father. In Surah Al-Imran (3:47), when Maryam asked how she could have a child when no man had touched her, the angel replied: "Such is Allah; He creates what He wills. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, 'Be,' and it is."
The Qur'an draws a parallel between this miracle and the creation of Adam in Surah Al-Imran (3:59): "Indeed, the example of Isa to Allah is like that of Adam. He created him from dust; then He said to him, 'Be,' and he was." Both were created through extraordinary divine acts, but Isa's birth is specifically characterised by the absence of a father.
The other prophets listed all had fathers. Ibrahim's father was Azar. Is-haq (Isaac) was the son of Ibrahim. Musa (Moses) was the son of Imran (a different Imran from Maryam's father).
