Answer Details
The heart of the adult frog consists of one ventricle and two auricles. The ventricle pumps oxygen-poor blood to the lungs and skin for gas exchange, while the two auricles receive oxygen-rich blood from the lungs and skin and pump it to the rest of the body. The single ventricle is divided into two chambers by a partial septum, which helps to partially separate oxygen-poor blood from oxygen-rich blood.
