A sex-linked character cannot be passed on directly from
Answer Details
A sex-linked character is a trait that is carried on the sex chromosomes (X and Y). In humans, females have two X chromosomes, while males have one X and one Y chromosome. Since a father can only pass the Y chromosome to his son, he cannot pass on an X-linked trait to him. Therefore, a sex-linked character cannot be passed on directly from father to son.
