كم عدد سور القرآن الكريم؟

The Holy Quran (القرآن الكريم) contains exactly 114 سورة (surahs/chapters). These surahs vary greatly in length, from the shortest, Surah Al-Kawthar (الكوثر), which has only 3 verses, to the longest, Surah Al-Baqarah (البقرة), which has 286 verses. The surahs are broadly classified into two groups: سور مكية (Makki surahs), revealed in Makkah before the Hijra, and سور مدنية (Madani surahs), revealed in Madinah after the Hijra.

The number 114 is a well-established fact in Islamic knowledge and is agreed upon by all scholars.
