The political system in which the government controls every aspect of a citizen's life is called totalitarianism. In a totalitarian system, the government has complete power over the economy, media, education, and even personal beliefs and behaviors of its citizens. This type of government often uses force and censorship to maintain control and suppress dissenting opinions. Citizens have very little or no individual freedom or rights, and the government is typically run by a single party or leader who has complete control over decision-making.
