Question 1 Report

A charity is preparing a presentation to recruit volunteers for a weekend repair cafe. Visitors bring broken household items, and volunteers help to repair rather than replace them. The organiser has provided a logo, images of a repaired lamp and a bicycle, and a text document containing volunteer roles. The presentation will be played repeatedly on a screen near the entrance, with no presenter speaking. It must therefore make sense when viewed in any order. Create a presentation with a title slide, two role slides, a slide showing examples of items repaired, and a final slide giving the event location. Include a simple navigation link on each content slide that returns to the title slide. Save the completed work as repair_cafe.pptx.

(a) Create one volunteer-role slide using information from the supplied document task. [3]
(b) Create the examples slide using both supplied images and suitable captions. [2]
(c) Use an action button or hyperlink to create navigation back to the title slide. [2]
(d) Give one reason why navigation is useful for a presentation that repeats without a presenter. [1]
