Cult members are particularly hostile to perceived enemies. Cults are groups or organizations that usually have religious, spiritual, or philosophical beliefs that are different from mainstream society. They can also have strict and often oppressive rules for their members. Members of cults may see anyone outside of their group as a threat to their beliefs or way of life, and may become hostile towards them. They may also view dissent within their own group as a threat and react with aggression towards their own members.
