HIV/AIDS is a deadly disease that affects millions of people worldwide. While there is no cure for HIV/AIDS, several preventive measures can be taken to reduce the spread of the disease. Abstinence, screening of blood before transfusion, and use of barrier methods like condoms are some of the most effective preventive measures of HIV/AIDS.
However, stigmatization of victims is not a preventive measure of HIV/AIDS. Stigmatization can lead to discrimination and social exclusion of infected individuals, making it difficult for them to access medical care and support. Instead, creating awareness, providing access to healthcare and counseling, and promoting safe sex practices are some of the effective measures to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS.
