Kwaa Mensah (c. 1920-1991) was a pioneering Ghanaian palm-wine and highlife guitarist. He was the leader of the Fanti Trio, a small ensemble that played an important role in the development of guitar-band highlife music in Ghana.
Kwaa Mensah is recognised as one of the earliest and most influential palm-wine guitar musicians in West Africa. His fingerpicking style and the Fanti Trio's performances helped establish the guitar-band highlife tradition that would later influence many West African popular music genres.
The Accra Orchestra was a different ensemble associated with early brass-band highlife. The other options do not correspond to known musical groups led by Kwaa Mensah.
