Coordinates
Overview
Coordinates pin down an exact position with a pair of numbers, turning the flat plane into a grid you can navigate precisely. They are the link between algebra and geometry: every point becomes a pair of numbers, and every line or curve becomes an equation.
In this lesson you will use and interpret Cartesian coordinates in two dimensions: reading and plotting points, understanding the axes and origin, and seeing how coordinates describe position on a grid.
