Angles Around A Point And On Parallel Lines
Overview
Angles are everywhere a line turns or two lines cross, and a small set of facts lets you find an unknown angle without measuring it. Angles at a point, angles on a straight line, vertically opposite angles and the angles made when a line cuts a pair of parallel lines all follow simple, reliable rules.
In this lesson you will use these rules to calculate unknown angles, and just as importantly to justify each step with the correct reason. That habit of giving a reason is exactly what earns full marks in a geometry question.
