Scatter Diagrams
Overview
A scatter diagram plots pairs of values to reveal whether two quantities are connected, and a line of best fit lets you make predictions. The international course adds the power of a graphic calculator to find the line of best fit precisely.
In this lesson you will draw and interpret scatter diagrams, describe correlation, draw and use a line of best fit, and (at Extended) use a graphic display calculator to find the equation of linear regression.
