Answer Details
1/R = 1/8 + 1/8 = 2/8
∴ R = 4Ω
l/l1 = R/R1
(x)/(100-x) = 4/8
4(100-x) = 8x
400-4x = 8x
400 = 8x + 4x = 12x
x = 400/12 = 33.3cm
