Answer Details
The total value of goods and services produced within the borders of a country is called "gross domestic product" or GDP for short. GDP measures the monetary value of all final goods and services produced within a country's borders during a specific period of time, typically a year.
GDP includes all goods and services produced by businesses and individuals, including investments and government spending. It does not include goods and services produced by a country's citizens or businesses outside of its borders, which is measured by "gross national product" or GNP.
However, to get the net values, we subtract the depreciation of capital from GDP to get "net domestic product" or NDP and we also subtract the income earned by foreigners in the country from GNP to get "net national product" or NNP.
