Why is dance important in cultural education?

Dance is one of the oldest and most universal forms of human expression. In the context of cultural education, its primary importance lies in its ability to preserve and share cultural heritage. Traditional dances carry within them the history, values, beliefs, and identity of a people. Through learning and performing these dances, younger generations gain a direct, embodied connection to their cultural roots.
