Using almighty formula i.e. x = $\frac{b \pm \sqrt{b^{2} - 4 a c}}{2 a}$
a = 3, b = 6, c = -2
x = $\frac{- 6 \pm \sqrt{6^{2} - 4 (3) (- 2)}}{2 (3)}$
x = $\frac{6 \pm \sqrt{36 - 24}}{6}$
x = $\frac{6 \pm \sqrt{60}}{6}$
x = $\frac{- 6 \pm \sqrt{4 \times 15}}{6}$
x = $\frac{- 1 \pm \sqrt{15}}{3}$
