(e) Remove carefully one of the legs on the right side of the metathorax of specimen P. Make a drawing, 6 cm to 8 cm long of the removed leg and label fully.

Its long, strong hind legs enable it to jump away from predators.
Its wings enable it to fly from danger and move between vegetation.

(ii) Structural similarities
Both have bodies divided into head, thorax and abdomen.
Both have three pairs of jointed legs and a pair of antennae.
Both have compound eyes, a chitinous exoskeleton and biting-and-chewing mouthparts.
