$l o g_{10} (3 x + 1) + l o g_{10} 4 = l o g_{10} (9 x + 2)$

$l o g_{10} 4 (3 x + 1) = l o g_{10} (9 x + 2)$

4(3x+1) = 9x + 2

12x -4 = 9x + 2

12x - 9x = 2 + 4

3x = 6

x = 2
