The bulk of Nigeria timber is obtained from the rain-forest. The rain-forest is a type of forest characterized by high rainfall and biodiversity, and is found in the southern part of Nigeria. The rain-forest in Nigeria is a major source of timber and other forest products, such as rubber, palm oil, and cocoa. The rain-forest also provides habitats for a diverse range of flora and fauna, and plays an important role in regulating the global climate.
