Isaiah exclaimed "Woe is me! for I am lost" when he saw the Lord in His holiness and glory. This can be found in Isaiah 6:5 of the Bible. In this passage, Isaiah has a vision of the Lord seated on a throne, with angels flying around Him and calling out His holiness. Isaiah, upon seeing this, realizes his own sinfulness and unworthiness to be in the presence of the Lord.
