(a) Five services which NIPOST (Nigerian Postal Service) renders to the public

1. Conveyance of mails: it collects, sorts and delivers letters, parcels and packages within and outside the country.
2. Remittance of money: it enables people to send and receive money through postal orders and money orders.
3. Provision of private mail bags and post office boxes: it rents boxes and bags where customers receive their mails safely.
4. Sale of postal materials: it sells postage stamps, postcards, stamped envelopes and revenue stamps.
5. Savings and agency services: it operates savings accounts and acts as an agent for the government, for example in the sale of licences and collection of bills, and offers philatelic (stamp-collection) services.

(b) Five advantages of courier services

1. Speed: couriers deliver documents and parcels very fast, often within a guaranteed time.
2. Door-to-door delivery: items are collected from the sender and delivered directly to the receiver's address.
3. Safety and security: parcels are carefully handled, reducing loss or damage.
4. Tracking of items: senders can trace and monitor the movement of their consignments until delivery.
