Sexual propagation involves the use of seeds.
Seeds are the reproductive structures of plants that contain an embryo which develops into a new plant under the right conditions. Sexual propagation occurs when the male and female gametes of plants combine to form a new seed. This can happen naturally through pollination or artificially through controlled breeding.
Bulbs, cuttings, and vines are examples of asexual propagation methods. Asexual propagation does not involve the use of seeds, but instead uses vegetative parts of the plant such as stems, leaves, or roots to grow a new plant that is genetically identical to the parent plant.
