Monochromatic: laser light is of a single (or very narrow band of) wavelength/colour, unlike ordinary light which is a mixture of many wavelengths.
Coherent: the waves are all in phase with one another, both in space and time.
Highly directional and narrow (collimated): the beam is very parallel and spreads very little over long distances, giving high intensity concentrated in a small area (it is also very intense/bright).
