The system of agriculture that combines the growing of crops and the rearing of animals is known as mixed farming. In this system, farmers grow crops and raise animals on the same piece of land. This helps to maximize the use of available resources, such as soil, water, and land, and can also provide a steady source of food and income for the farmers. Additionally, the waste produced by the animals can be used as fertilizer for the crops, creating a closed-loop system where resources are reused and waste is minimized.
