Christ demonstrated humility by taking the form of a servant. In Philippians 2:6-8, it says that although Jesus was God, He did not consider equality with God something to be used to His own advantage. Instead, He made Himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, and humbled Himself by becoming obedient to death, even death on a cross.
Jesus demonstrated humility in several ways, but taking on the form of a servant is perhaps the most profound example. Despite being the Son of God, He willingly submitted Himself to serve others, and ultimately sacrificed His life for the redemption of humanity. This act of humility is the ultimate example of selflessness and servanthood, and inspires us to follow in His footsteps by putting the needs of others before our own.
