One-party system encourages and often ends up in

Answer Details
One-party system encourages and often ends up in a dictatorship. A one-party system is a type of government where there is only one political party that is legally allowed to exist and hold power. This means that there is no competition in elections, as only members of the ruling party are allowed to run for office. This lack of competition and political opposition can result in a concentration of power in the hands of a small group of people within the ruling party, which can lead to authoritarianism and oppression of dissenting voices. In a one-party system, there is usually no freedom of expression, and citizens are not able to freely express their opinions or ideas without fear of retribution from the government. Therefore, a one-party system is not conducive to democracy, fair electoral contests, or freedom of expression.
