According to Judges 16, Delilah betrayed Samson to the Philistines. The Philistine rulers approached Delilah and offered her a large sum of silver to discover the secret of Samson's extraordinary strength so they could overpower him.
Delilah persistently pressed Samson to reveal the source of his strength. Three times Samson gave her false answers, and each time she attempted to subdue him using the method he described. Finally, worn down by her constant nagging, Samson revealed the truth: his strength came from his Nazirite vow to God, and if his head were shaved, his strength would leave him. Delilah lulled Samson to sleep on her lap and called a man to shave off the seven braids of his hair. When Samson awoke, his strength was gone, and the Philistines seized him, gouged out his eyes, and imprisoned him in Gaza.
The other women listed are notable biblical figures but played no part in Samson's betrayal. Rahab was the woman of Jericho who helped the Israelite spies (Joshua 2). Jezebel was the wicked queen of Israel married to King Ahab (1 Kings 16-21). Deborah was a judge and prophetess who led Israel to victory over the Canaanites (Judges 4-5).
