Wildlife conservation is the practice of protecting and preserving wild animals and their habitats. It is enhanced by discouraging the elimination of endangered species. This can be achieved through the creation of protected areas and national parks, education on the importance of conservation, and strict enforcement of laws against poaching and illegal trade of wildlife. Enacting laws to encourage poaching, encouraging the creation of satellite hunting units, and suppressing the activities of wildlife conservation agencies are counterproductive and can undermine the efforts to conserve wildlife.
