The type of wholesaler that combines selling, delivery, and collection in one operation is called a "truck wholesaler". Truck wholesalers are also known as "truck jobbers" or "route wholesalers". They operate by purchasing goods in bulk from manufacturers or other wholesalers, and then delivering those goods directly to their customers via their own trucks or vans. In addition to delivering the goods, truck wholesalers also handle the payment collection from their customers. This type of wholesaler is often used by retailers who may not have the resources or transportation to purchase and pick up goods from multiple suppliers. By using a truck wholesaler, they can consolidate their orders and have them delivered directly to their store, saving time and money. Truck wholesalers typically serve a specific geographic area and operate on a regular schedule, visiting their customers on designated days of the week or month.
