Memory
Overview
Every time you open an app, load a web page, or even switch on a calculator, the device is pulling instructions and data from its memory. Without memory, a processor would have nowhere to find the instructions it needs to carry out its tasks.
In this lesson you will explore the three types of memory that digital devices rely on: RAM, ROM, and flash memory. You will learn what makes each one different, why the size of RAM directly affects how smoothly your device runs, and where flash memory fits into modern portable technology.

- Know that RAM stands for Random Access Memory and that ROM stands for Read Only Memory
