Overview

Telling and calculating with time is a skill we use every day, yet it trips people up because time is not based on tens: there are 60 seconds in a minute and 60 minutes in an hour. Reading timetables and working out durations correctly is a small skill that prevents big mistakes.

In this lesson you will calculate with units of time, switch between the 12-hour and 24-hour clock, and read clocks and timetables to work out durations and arrival times.
