Robotics

Overview

Robots build cars, vacuum floors, assist surgeons and fly as drones. But what actually makes a machine a robot, rather than just an automatic appliance? The answer lies in a handful of shared characteristics: a physical body, sensors, a processor to decide, actuators to move, and a program to follow.
