Drawing Linear Graphs

Overview

A straight-line graph is the picture of a linear equation. Every equation of the form \(y = mx + c\) draws as a perfectly straight line, and being able to plot one accurately turns algebra you can only read into a shape you can see, measure and use.

In this lesson you will learn the dependable method examiners reward: build a short table of values, plot the points carefully on labelled axes, and join them with a single straight ruled line.
