Cumulative Frequency Tables, Curves And Box Plots

Overview

When data is grouped, a cumulative frequency table keeps a running total as you move through the groups. Plotted as a curve, it lets you read off the median and quartiles, and a box plot then summarizes the whole spread at a glance.

In this lesson you will build cumulative frequency tables, draw and read cumulative frequency curves to find the median and quartiles, and use those values to draw and interpret a box plot.
