Present Data
Overview
A spreadsheet that calculates correctly can still be hard to read. Presenting data is the craft of making the numbers clear: showing them to a sensible number of decimal places, attaching the right currency symbol, colouring cells so a warning leaps out, and laying the sheet out to print neatly on the page. None of this changes the values; it changes how they are displayed and understood.
In this lesson you will learn to switch between the values view and the formulae view, to size rows and columns and wrap text so nothing is cut off, to hide and reveal rows and columns, to format numbers as currency and percentages, to apply conditional formatting that responds to a cell's contents, and to control page orientation and printing. These are the finishing skills that separate a usable spreadsheet from a confusing one.
Objectives

- Format a spreadsheet.
