AO4 Present
Overview
AO4 is the objective that most students think about last - and that is exactly the problem. Presentation is not about making things look tidy at the end of a project; it is a sustained demonstration that you understand how visual language works and that you can use it intentionally to communicate a personal response. The examiner assesses whether your final outcome says something, whether it is coherent, and whether it shows that you have made considered decisions about how to present your ideas.
This note explains what 'visual language' means in practice, how to make your final response feel intentional rather than accidental, how to select and arrange work for submission, and what the highest marks look like in this objective.
