A nagging problem in your family has so far defied all solutions. Write a letter to an uncle of yours stating what the problem is and giving reasons why he should intervene.

Dear Uncle Osaro,
I hope this letter finds you in good health. I am writing to you not merely to exchange greetings but to seek your help concerning a serious problem that has troubled our family for many months and has so far defied every solution.
The problem, Uncle, is the growing quarrel between my parents over the sharing of the family land left behind by our late grandfather. Some members of the extended family insist that the land be sold and the money shared, while my father believes it should be kept and farmed for the benefit of us all. The disagreement has grown so bitter that relatives who once ate from the same pot now barely greet one another. My mother is deeply worried, my father hardly sleeps, and the peace of our home has been shattered.
I am appealing to you to intervene, and I have good reasons for turning to you. In the first place, you are the eldest surviving member of the family, and your words carry weight that no one dares to ignore. Secondly, you are known for your fairness and wisdom, and both sides trust you to judge without favour. Thirdly, you have settled even greater disputes in the past, and I believe that only your timely intervention can prevent this quarrel from tearing the family apart for good.
Please, Uncle, come to our aid before the matter grows worse. A word from you at a family meeting could restore the peace we have lost. We shall all be very grateful.
Thank you, and please extend my warm greetings to Aunty and my cousins.
Your loving nephew,
Efe.
