Write a letter to your friend in another school giving him/her three reasons why your school has been excelling in academic work.
Format note: This is an informal letter to a friend, so it needs the writer's address and date, an informal salutation (Dear Kofi), a warm and friendly tone, at least three clear reasons, and an informal close (Your friend).

Dear Kofi,
It has been quite a while since we last exchanged letters, and I do hope this one finds you in the best of health and spirits. I am doing very well here, and I write with great pride to share some good news with you. My school has once again emerged one of the best in the state in academic performance, and I want to tell you the three main reasons behind this success.
The first reason is our dedicated and highly qualified teachers. They are not only masters of their subjects but also patient and caring. They arrive early, teach with enthusiasm, mark our work promptly, and organise extra lessons for weaker students. Under their guidance, no student is left behind.
Secondly, our school enjoys excellent learning facilities. We have well-stocked libraries, modern science laboratories and a computer room with internet access. These resources make learning practical and exciting, so that what we read in books, we also see and do with our own hands.
The third reason is the culture of discipline and hard work that runs through the whole school. We keep to a strict timetable of lessons, private study and revision. Distractions are firmly discouraged, and both teachers and prefects ensure that everyone takes learning seriously. Hard work has simply become a habit here.
I truly believe these three things, wonderful teachers, good facilities and a disciplined atmosphere, are the secret of our success. Do write back and tell me how things are going in your own school. Greet your family warmly for me.
Your friend,
Ada
