a) Creating a four-slide presentation:
- Open Microsoft PowerPoint
- Click on the "New Presentation" button
- Select a template or theme for your presentation
- Add slides by clicking on the "New Slide" button in the Home tab
- Repeat step 4 until you have created four slides
b) Modifying the presentation to show the date, slide number, and surname:
- Go to the View tab and click on the "Slide Master" button
- In the slide master, locate the footer section
- Type "A. Today's date" in the left section, "B. Slide number" in the center section, and "C. Your surname" in the right section
- Close the slide master and return to the normal view
- Go to the Insert tab and select the "Page Number" button
- Choose the option to show the slide number in the footer and place it in the center section
- Go to the Insert tab and select the "Date & Time" button
